I have been teaching for ten years. This is a second profession for me. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in business. After staying home with my kids and helping out in their classrooms, I decided to go back to school for a teaching degree. That was the best decision ever! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have been married to a wonderful man, Steve, for 25 years. We have two boys, Mack and Austin, in college and our daughter, Bailey, is a senior at Carroll High School.

This is my ninth year in education. The kids in my classroom have shaped me into the teacher I am today. Their desire to learn, willingness to please, and the inquisitiveness they bring to my lessons, pushes me to meet their diverse needs. I am thrilled with the opportunity each new school year brings, and I know this will be an unforgettable 3rd grade experience. When I’m not teaching your child or working in my classroom, you might find me at the movies, browsing around a bookstore, or out to dinner with my husband. I enjoy being around people that love me, whether that is my family or your child. J

I am beginning my 16th year of teaching, with the last 6 years in 3rd grade at Old Union. I previously taught 4th grade in Klein ISD in the Houston area. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my husband, Brian, and our 8 month old son, Nathan. I am also an avid sports fan and can be found cheering for my Texas Tech Red Raiders!

I am beginning my 14th year of teaching and have had the privelege of spending the past seven of those years at Old Union in either third or fourth grade. Third graders are amazing creatures! I love their genuine love and excitement and look forward to spending my days with them. When I'm not at school, I am busy enjoying my family. My husband, Darrik, and I have been married for seven years and have two blessings; Julia who is four and Morgan who is six months. I love to read as often as I can find the time as well as shop and decorate our home.
